01Choose a discipline
Start with coached karting, a suitable track experience or off-road instruction. Confirm access, vehicle requirements and training with the operator.

Ask the organiser which FMSCI competition licence you need. One Event and Club Sport / National / International application routes exist; eligibility depends on discipline and grade.

Bike circuit racing calls for an accepted helmet, racing leathers, gloves, boots and protectors. For cars, get the class-specific helmet, suit, restraints and vehicle checklist from the organiser.

Confirm age eligibility, medical documents, training, scrutineering and the event’s supplementary regulations. Recreational sessions have their own entry requirements.
